Volunteer FAQs

Do I need experience?

No. We welcome people at all skill levels. Some roles are perfect for learning, and we have mentorship available.

What if I can only give a few hours?

Perfect. We have roles for every capacity—from one-time help to ongoing roles. Tell us what works for you.

How do I connect with a specific project?

After you join the skill bank, our team will review your profile and match you with relevant opportunities. We'll be in touch.

Are there remote opportunities?

Yes. Some roles (coordination, marketing, fundraising, web work) are fully remote. Others require in-person participation.

Do you cover expenses?

Volunteers are not paid, but we cover direct project expenses (materials, travel, etc.) where applicable. This varies by project.
